Kidding season done

Should have been done a month ago but this girl waited until the last heat cycle of the year, and then went 158 days, single buck kid that weighed 14 POUNDS. I milked her out and got nearly 2 gallons - and when the bucket was filled I stopped - the brute kid needs some too - and you can see in the pics, her udder still had some milk. Last year she went 14 lbs a day for almost 80 days before starting to drop, but never milked less than 11 lbs before I dried her off. Her full sister is a top ten breed leader for 2010 although ADGA hasn't released the final results (the breeder just got the notification)

Cookie's udder (messy hind end, you know how it is)
