Poor Machi, not much to work with...scrub oak is about all that's left.

Poor Star, lol...makes me giggle too. She's getting kinda plump since she's been here as well. Apparently they're getting plenty of hay and grain, sure hate to see the prices come winter for hay, it's not going to be pretty. O.o

We aren't that bad here on the eastern part of Oklahoma. But then again I do water where the goats are right now at night. My goats wont touch hay right now. They have free choice of it and alfalfa pellets but rather eat the grass.

That is terrible Suzyq2u, sure wish I could send you a few days worth of rain to green things up. We sure could use some here too but we haven't had quite the temp's your having & not as long a dry spell either. I'd be willing to share what ever we get though, it's just convincing Mother nature to cooperate is all we need.
