First time momma! My first goatie babies!
The younger of my two bred does, Lily, kidded last night! I estimated her due date to be July 27. We had driveway service done. Lily is a two year old Nubian and first time mom. She had TWINS last night!!!! They are tiny but this is my first set of babies so I am not sure if they are THAT tiny or if it just because they are twins. They are not standing up on their own. When should they stand up on their own? They do have a strong bawl when we go in and pet them. We have tried to stand them up and one tried to stand up on its own afterwards but couldn't. Lily had them all cleaned up before we found them but she has not paid much attention to them since we have been up. I am not sure it they have ate yet or not. Lily's bag is very hard and we tried to put the babies up to her to nurse and she kicked and would not even let me try to get milk out. Lily is my most stand offish goat to start with.
Any suggestions??
And the twins are CUTE! Black with white frosted tipped ears! Pure Nubians!

They should be standing very soon after birth and they need to nurse.
I've had to tie a doe short and push her up against a wall, in order to hold her while the babies nurse the first couple times. Her udder may be sore from being full, but make sure the the milk in flowing before trying to get the babies to latch on, you may have to remove a plug from the teat if there is no milk coming out.
Since the babies are not standing this is probably a two person project, hold the babies up to the teat, you may have to pry their mouth open to get the teat in there initially.
If they are not sucking, sometimes scratching their rear will gets them started.
Good Luck!

Get back out to the barn! Get those kids up and nursing NOW, or give them bottles. Restrain the dam so she lets them nurse or lets you milk her out.
If you don't get this done NOW, you are going to lose the kids.

They are starting to stand. I milked the momma and I she did not like it. I have them both, bucks, in the house and I am trying to bottle feed them. So far they are trying. A friend who has around 20 goats is on her way here.

As a first freshener, and not trained to the milk stand, she's going to be difficult at first. You are in charge. Keep milking her, at least twice a day.

Do you have any Bo-Se? It's an RX injectable selenium/vit e. If you don't have any, does your goat friend?
I'd give them a shot of Bo-Se, and if you want them dam raised, I'd tie mom up (tie her legs up to the fence or something if she's kicking the babies away), and force her to take them. The babies MUST get plenty of colostrum in the first 12 hours... if they don't it reduces their chances greatly to thrive.....

Give the BoSe then make sure they get colostrum one way or the other.

Unless you want to bottle feed them, they need to be confined to a small pen with the Mom for a few days so they can bond.
The more seperation there is early on, the less likely she will accept them at all

We have no problem with bottle feeding. That was sort of the debate before the babies. Since they are both bucks we are not keeping them longer than 4 weeks or so. We were kind of of the mind that if they were bucks we would bottle feed for a few weeks then they would be sold, and does would be left on mama because we would be keeping them. I have milked Lily and we are feeding the colostrum. The colostrum IS SO THICK I had to water it down in order for them to be able to swallow it. Once I did that they have been getting at least/around 2 oz every two hours. They are still very wobbly but they do walk around. They were given Selenium. Mamma has electrolytes/Vit mix in her water. She has also been wormed and got an antibiotic shot. The babies will only get their momma's milk until they leave here unless she does not produce enough. If I do not have enough milk my friend has plenty of goats milk to give me.
Give me a little bit of time on the pics....but I did take a bunch!
