sick buckling

8 week old started with scours(runny, bright green) July 11 but was running around and playing fine. We're coming out of a major flooding season and suddenly temps shot up to over 100 degrees for a few days so I assumed too much lush browse combined with heat....He was wormed and had given antibiotics at the "pet vet" June 1 and I gave him a dose of Safeguard July 14. We are in the middle of the 5 day Corid drench. I also started electrolytes.
He has lost all interest in browse and hay. Off and on he is lethargic and has no appetite for bottle and then is up and can't get the milk in fast enough. I honestly thought he wouldn't make it through last night. This morning I noticed a little white snot and think I can hear a chest rattle.
He is a sale barn goat whose rough start may have doomed him but I have time to try to help him out. I have no experience with animal meds and no way to get prescriptions. Anyone have any ideas?

Take his temp. I almost lost a milking doe due to sudden pneumonia just a few days ago. Puenmonia is silent in goats (no coughing or obvious wheezing) and will take a kid down fast. If he has a fever, give him some Banamine to take it down and call the vet to see what antibiotics he needs.

Some CD anti-toxin would be a good idea and is safe. You can buy it at some farm stores.

What's his temp?

Safe Guard is often a fairly useless wormer in goats. Have you checked inside his lower eyelid to see what the color is there?

Try and get a temp on him.

What kind of antibiotics did the vet give him in June, why and how long was he on them?

Finally got a temp-had to borrow a thermometer-102.4. Searched every farm store around and none had Banamine or CD anti-toxin in stock. So I started calling pet vets that are open on Saturday to see if any of them carry those meds. After much haggling with the receptionist at the original vet's office, she accepted a fecal sample and gave me Albon for the coccidia and Penicillin for the other stuff. Albon is what she had given the first time she saw him. She gave me instructions on giving the Pen shots(YIKES!) She did all that after hours(and after the receptionist had left for the day!) and informed me that she was happy to take care of my goats as long as I don't expect house calls. I know we aren't out of the woods but I'm feeling better knowing there's hope. Thanks everyone for the support!!!!
