Question Help me price my cheese please

Okay-I have friends and acquaintances who would like to buy some of the cheese I make here at home. Keep in mind, I am just making basic chevre and fromage blanc with direct set cultures I buy online and then some raw that I make from a regular culture with rennet.

Locally a certified goat dairy sells 1/4oz for $5 at the farmers market. These guys sell out each Saturday and they do not even sample!

What should I charge for this cheese? I'd like to sell it is 4oz, 8oz and 10oz sizes.

Thoughts?

I sell Chevre and Feta for $16.00 lb, and sell out at the farmers market every weekend.
Hard cheeses are $24.00lb and Camembert is $32.00lb

Dollar an ounce for chevre.

More for hard cheeses.

Not that I sell any, as it's not legal.

Of course, Alice. I won't sell it, just trade for shiney coins.

I was thinking $1 an ounce so I'm on track. I don't have a way to make hard cheese yet but hopefully will soon!

Thanks!
