She really IS pregnant...

Well I wanted to let y'all know that we have white plug goo with softer tendons than before and today for the first time ever I actually felt the bony little bugger(s) . This is on my doe that I have been asking about with pregnancy questions. I was relieved today to see that mucus and feel something in her belly and know truly I am not going crazy.

This is the last time I under estimate our short guy's prowess with the ladies. It is actually nice to know that he finally figured out how to get the larger girls without us having to actually help all the time. Thank you so much for listening to me worry about her and for all the advise and ideas. By this time I had given up hope and was ready to load her in the trailer and have her checked out by my vet. Good thing I didn't huh? You can imagine how that would have gone down.....

Pardon the bad quality, it was taken with my cell phone while I was milking and feeding everyone. But here is a picture of Rhapsody's belly in all it's full glory.

I was sitting down milking our older doe and I had Rhap's on the stand beside me so I figured I would take a snapshot of her belly just to prove I am not imagining the fullness . Although the saying around here now is you'll know their pregnant when you see the feet coming. So until the feet arrive .

I had a goat go through a false pregnancy. Her bag filled to capacity and everything. I did take her to the vet, and after an ultrasound "confirmed" a baby......... The 3 quarts I milked from her was just a milky tinted water. No baby. I was bummed. She was bummed and tried to steal all the other kids born to my other two does. She gave me trouble of one sort or another the entire time I had her. 10 years of goatie love/hate relationship. She was my favorite
