Smile Old scruffy goat-and a couple new ones

I wanted to post a picture of my Oma; I got her back in early April and I posted a proud picture of my scruffy girl-then took the advice to bolus her and wantd to share how much better she is looking.

Here she is when she got to us:

And here she was yesterday-

Lots fluffier-lots softer. She's also gotten sweeter; she tolerates my kisses and comes to me for tickles behind the ears. Sadly she is beginning to grow scurs; not sure what I will do about that.

And here are the new ones:

This is Chi Chi-she is a LaMancha/Saanen cross from the same breeder who bred Oma. Her udder is different; the teats are smaller and turn out so she isn't as easy to milk-but she is soooo sweet.

And this little bit is Josie-she came from the same farm where we got Millie. She's getting better at not letting the bigger girls push her around. It was early morning and I had just brought the feed out-I promise she is not starving! She's getting kisses from my littlest human one:

And then of course Millie. She never misses a chance for a kiss!

I couldn't resist-this is of Oma and Millie reaching for sweet gum limbs that had fallen off a neighbor's tree. I was more than happy to pull the limb off the fence-the goats loved it!

Thanks for indulging me.
