Wink Star's new hood ornament....

So, as we expected, right on cue, Star managed to get her big noggin and horns stuck in the fence (shouldn't be an issue once she's in the 'goat area'....but this is 4in field fence).... so 3 repairs to the fence later she now sports 'the stick'. Of course we only had tye dye duct tape available, LOL. Poor goofy creature..

At Christmas, I put green duct tape on one horn and red on the other.

That gave me a good chuckle! I like the tie dyed duct tape, it looks nice & girly girl for her.

Can't tell you all how many times I've had to create a "Stick Head" here at my place. Always, the bucklings that are not disbudded or banded - on purpose, for the ethnic markets. You get so tired of un-stucking heads from fences. The PVC pipe or a stick really does a great job.

My old neighbor guy called them bonnets and all his goats wore bonnets.
