goat chewing herself raw

I have a doe, that in the last couple months, has been chewing quarter sized spots on her sides. The spots are bilateral, one on each side, and are btween the hip bone and flank. Other then some red tint to her black hair (she is copper bolused) her fur and skin are normal. She is barbering the hair off and one time she made her skin a little raw. It started as a dime sized circle and now they are like a verticle line of barbered fur about 2 inches and down to the skin. I give ivermectin and no sign of mites or lice. Its more like something internal is bothering her there, or a nervouse habit. She is always helicoptering her head when mad and she is the herd queen. I do not give grain apart from when bribing her. She is mostly eating pasture with some hay.
Anyone have any clues what is wrong?

She could have allergies. I have a doe with insect allergies, and she often has scabby spots on her skin where she has chewed or scratched. With allergies it doesn't take much to make them itchy. The helicoptering could be trying to scratch herself with non-existant horns.
