Question questions to ask, when buying 'used' lol

Alright so I think I'm on the right path, I've had a few that
haven't been the right set for us. The last lady was
honest enough to tell me they did have CL in their heard.
There's a better set I've had my eye on and the guy hadn't
called me back, I assumed they were sold. He called back last
night but I missed the call, we're playing phone tag now...
So, here's my list of questions....please add!!
They're 3yo nubian does exposed to boer buck. Pics show them to be in good weight. Look happy, they're downsizing to make room.

1. Have you ever/recently tested for CAE, CL. What was the outcome, do you have paperwork, either way.
2. They're recently weaned from kidding...Are any still in milk? If so how much roughly are you getting from them.
3. Did you worm after kidding?
4. Have they been inoculated for CD & T?

5. What is your worming schedule, if any? What wormers do you use?
6. What mineral, if any, are they currently getting. Do you copper bolus? If so, when was the last time you did?
7. Was Bo-Se given to them before kidding, or at any time?
8. Do you do any other testing? Johnne's? Brucella? TB? If so, what was the outcome?
9. When was the last time their hooves were trimmed?
10. What feeding schedule do you currently use and what do you feed?

I just checked on here to find out what you were buying 'used', i.e. clippers, milking machine, whatever...

I guess all my goats are 'used' as soon as I dry them off as kids?

Seriously, those are great questions to ask and it'll save you a lot of heartache later. Do your research and find breeders that really care about disease issues and herd health.
