Is there a particular breed you were wanting info on?

Most of my Nigerians are in the 4-6lb range.

Are you asking for production? daily?

Or are you asking how much the goat weighs?

My best milkers average 14 lbs a day. I just recently purchased a new buckling from a dam that does 17.2 lbs a day on milk test. So, hopefully, I can boost my milk production up more.

I was going to say 40 to 50 lbs before I read some of the other posts... (Weight of my best milkers of course!)

My best milkers are 4 years or older.
I raise Nubians
By best girls average 11+/- pounds a day over their lactation, that puts them up in the top producers in the country for the breed

We are new to goats, our nubian 4 yo produces 5lbs a day after the move to our place. She's stuck to that for a little bit now

The mini dairy breeds (Nigerian Dwarfs, Mini Manchas, etc.) will produce less. Standard size dairy girls do produce more. I was interested in a Nigi doe at one time and she produced about 5 cups a day. My Saanens (who weigh between 100-165 lbs.) produce anywhere from 2 quarts (my first freshener) to 1-1/2 gallons a day per goat.

I thought he really meant the size of the goat.

We started with minis because I was afraid of full size. Now, my favorite goat is the biggest full size goat, a Saanen/LaMancha cross. I'll measure her this morning and post her weight and photo.

The minis make about half the milk of the full size. They "supposedly" take less feed, but mine are pigglets at the feed trough, and as they are in with the herd, they have the opportunity to eat more than their share. They are tubby.

We just actually weighed everyone yesterday. Our FF's are at 150 lbs and our 2 y/o and 5 y/o are 200 lbs. These are saanens. I much prefer the larger size. If the saanen's were so mellow of a breed I might consider differently.
