Peas for goats?

I'm ripping up my Early Gray Peas as I just harvested the last of them.

I shelled them this morning & was wondering if I could feed my goats the green shells and the vines?

I don't remember ever reading anything about peas being bad for them, but wanted to know what you guys thought.

They'd love them! Just don't give them a lot all at once or you'll have some upset tummies. A handful for each goat to start should be fine.

a week or so ago, I pulled all our english pea vines up, harvested the peas, and the goats loved the vines!

I was kind of stingy with the peas as our harvest wasn't all that great due to the unrelenting heat that came early, but each got a small share and I even got a smile from our Alpine doe.

Our goats absolutely love the vines and empty shells.
