Nubian Buck a little confused?

It's June and he's getting oily on the face, wetting his beard and all the other things that go with rut... :

My fault, I was so proud he never got stinky last year... <sigh>

I've notice the first rut is not nearly as stinky as the ensuing ones.

I don't think my Nigerian boy has gone out of rut since last breeding season; just intensifies or subsides until he recognizes some new stimulus. (He STINKS!)

My boys are all out of rut, and as three of them are white, it's quite noticeable. My little Nigie buck's beard is pearly white!

My buck went out of rut around mid-December. He is starting to smell bucky and take an interest in the girls over in their pen. I guess he is starting early this year.

My boys are all out of Rut, since probly January but every so often I still get a wiff of one of them smelling more bucky than normal for this time of year.
I expect the peeing on themselves, etc. to start here in another couple months, at least I hope it holds off another couple months!
