Sick goat - glad I'm prepared!

I thought my Gabby got pinkeye last Saturday, so started treating with the antibiotic puffer I had on hand. She didn't get better, so called the vet Monday night and she showed up Tuesday. Gave her antibiotics and anti-inflamatory to help with pain & fever. She was better until I ran out of the anti-inflamatory the vet left with me. Her fever was back up to 104.5 tonight. Poor thing isn't eating and just seems miserable. The vet got in and called me back at 9:30 tonight and said give her penicillin.
I am so glad I've got a tackle box full of syringes and various size needles and meds in the fridge and could give her what she needed. We'll see how she feels in the morning. Vet thinks she's got a systemic infection, but we don't know what's causing it.
She had mastitis right after she kidded about 6 weeks ago, but we treated that right away and she seemed fine.
She's still giving 2-3 pounds twice a day, but she's getting sadly skinny. She's got free choice minerals, baking soda, salt block. 12% grain and alfalfa hay. I just started herbal wormer last weekend, but have ordered Eprinex to give her a boost.
Any ideas?

Have you had a fecal done?
104.5 really isn't that high unless you tried a pen-mate as well...
Have you tried giving her probiotics? Especially giving antibiotics you need to replace to good bacteria because antibiotics will kill both good and bad bacteris. A Vit. B shot should help with appetite.
Sounds like everything else is great!
I really hope she gets to feeling better,,,

Welcome to the forum! I agree with mpete on the worming. Worms eat condition. Liverfluke worming may be in order also. They may not show on a fecal so it's done preventatively.

Pink eye does not cause fever. You've got something else going on there.

As mentioned, she needs a fecal test, and to be checked for pneumonia and a re-occurrence of mastitis.
