Smile New Goaties!

We finally were able to get some really nice goats! It's amazing the difference in buying healthy animals and not having to try to nurse someones elses neglected animals back to health. I still can't believe that we drove 5 hours out and probably 8 hours back (lol) to get our goats.he just kidded for the first time and is giving me about a gallon a day, which right now I'm feeding part to the buck and the rest to the human "kids"! She is such a good milker and I'm so tickled. She just stands there like I want her too, and even sets her feet wide apart to give me room. She gives goat kisses while I milk too, very sweet!!!!!1 The little buck is not related to her and I got him for company and to breed later. Now I hope I can do everything properly for them to keep them happy!!!!

I agree! Very nice looking goaties. So happy for you that the doe is a nice, mannerly milker. Makes things SO much more pleasant.

Well done indeed! Sounds like you're off to a wonderful start. We've driven from Idaho to Texas before to get clean, quality, milk producing goats and it was definitely worth it. Congratulations!
