Can he breed? If she's in season, sure. Some does cycle seasonally, especially certain breeds like Alpine, Saanen etc... but not ALL. I've had does go into season in summer after kidding that spring.  Do you WANT November kids?
It is always a good idea to keep bucks apart from does, IMO. One reason being that you can 'hand breed' your does, and get an exact duedate on all of them. Guessing makes us pull our hair out, and can be critical if something 'goes wrong'.
Also, does in labor smell an awful lot like does in heat to some bucks. I've heard of bucks harassing or hurting does or kids because the doe was in labor and he wouldn't leave her alone.
If you only have one doe and one buck, I suggest getting another doe and wether or another buckling. Goats should NOT be kept alone, and need a companion to be happy.
