How much land do goats need?

I'm looking to add goats and maybe some sheep. How much land do they need to do well?

How much ya got? They'll take all you give em.

6 goats per acre depending on how much vegetation they have to eat on. Less vegetation means more supplemental food sources or own less goats.
Goats browse and prefer weeds and twigs and stuff that would kill sheep...sheep they like grass and they graze.

I have 4 Nubian does, 6 Nigi does and a BUNCH of kids and a pony on 3 acres in my front pasture with no issues - I gave hay at night and grain, of course

Thanks for the replies. I will have to address the fencing first of course, but I'm going to add some goats soon.
