scabs on goat?

anyone know what can cause scabs on a goat? I've noticed about 3...one on her udder even...been treating with Iodine...she does scratch herself but I dont know how much is alot...she is my first goat...when I got her a few weeks ago she had just been treated for lice and mites...Is it possible she still has lice or mites? they really kinda remind me of huge fly bites or something

Little round scabs? Staph dermatitis. Spray with chlorhexadine. Vaccinate with Lysigin.

Same dosage as for cows.

Chlorhexadine is available at feed stores, TSC, etc. It's the chemical in FightBac or Novalsan.

Thanks...since she only has 1 on her udder I think it sounds like staph dermatitis...I have been reading up on it and I actually do remember it starting out like a very small pimple like area like an ant bite ...so pretty sure you are right on about staph....Thanks so much...will begin treatment asap....do you think the milk is safe to drink?
