Sharing the cuteness.

I was out watching the goats play as the sun was setting, just as soon as it starts cooling off, the games begin. While watching them, I realized I better get some video of them because at the rate they're growing they won't be those cute little kids anymore. They'll turn into crying milk goats and Boers that take their foraging serious before I know it.

It's Itchy, Scratchy, The Other, and Amelia AirplaneEars at play.

((And yes. Amelia BITES! It's her favorite thing to do for attention, she always does it behind your back so you can't catch her doing it too.))

So cute! I love the play structure you have for them. Do the adults mess around on it to or just the kids?

You know, I came home from school one day and the FIL had that just about completed. The adult goats do play on it, but not in such a rambunctious manner, they use it more like a perch or lookout point.

The dairy goat runs up and "hides" on the top if the house dogs get too close to the pasture(she's still getting used to them). Cupcake(momma Boer) will get up there and sleep. One morning I caught her and all 3 Boer babies up there snoozing.

The metal cage that I'm leaning against use to be a water trough but the plastic container dry rotted and we just never got around to disposing of the cage. Good thing we didn't, it's their "fort". They'll get in it and run around trying to keep the other's out.

Loved watching them play! I would love to have a play gym for my babies. Gonna have to scrounge something they can use from off the farm.

What a great video. I laughed when you said "don't bite" to the black and white one (Camillia?) Does she normally bite? She is a beautiful goat. Thanks for sharing...I just loved it and it made me smile and laugh

That would be Mrs. Amelia AirplaneEars... Yes, she's a biter. She'll do it if you are standing, sitting, milking, whatever. She'll just walk up put her front two feet on you, reach of and bite at your skin on your arm or shoulder. If she can't reach that she settles on biting you through your shirt. She is the mischievous one of the bunch.

Never had a goat that insists on biting you. She's not a bottle baby either. LOL

I showed my DH your video. Now he wants to build one of those. He's thinking half that height because we want to get dwarf nigerians.
Loved the video.

Another popular one is the "stairs to nowhere". They love their ramp, they are all playing on it now.
