Kids and bucks

This is my first kidding and for some reason we are having a hard time finding info on if bucks are a danger to kids. These are boers, the buck is pretty good but can get pushy at times. Thanks! Happy kidding!

I would suggest keeping them seperate if at all possible. There is no mention of how old or what sex the kids are and that can have huge implications. If the kids are still on the dam or BB's they are way too small to take much pushing and all. Boers reach breeding abilty quite young (say 4 months even if they shouldn't be bred then) and that opens an entire other can of worms.
Keep him in his own area until it is time for him to do his business and kid raising is no part of it IMHO.

Are you talking about adult buck goats and HUMAN kids? Or buck goats and the newborns goat kids?

Please clarify.

I think Bwanaswan answered it, its a hammer and nails day tomorrow. To answer the questions we haven't kidded yet but it is soon. I am hoping for goat kids, I am not ready for human kids yet...especially coming out of a goat.
