I am having Hubby show me how to do the hoof trimming on my own tomorrow. He has so much other stuff to do, and I see no reason why I can't take care of it all by my lonesome,lol. Here's hoping I do a good job! Thank God my girls love me, maybe they will be nice to me and stay still on the stand for me so I can do it easier,LOL.

I just give mine a little bit of grain to munch on while they are on the stand, so they don't care what I'm doing to them!

Had hubby help some cause the hoof trimmers need some sharpening, but I think it was a good first try! Can't wait to get in there and do it again, now how often do ya hear that? LOL. I think it will be awesome to know how to do it myself and not reply on hubby's schedule to get it done.
