Off topic: hail storm

We got minor hail here in Missouri yesterday. No problem.

EARLY this morning at my home in Texas, a major hail storm moved through half of the little town where my husband was sound asleep. Hail between pingpong ball size and baseball size. Hubby dashed out, ran his truck into a tree, got the truck stuck in the mud, and the hail dinged his new paint job and broke the windshield. Roof damage on several of my rental houses and windows broken in three of them.

One of my friends lost the vinyl siding on her house to hail.

Life is so weird.

That's too bad Alice! So glad hubby is OK but I bet he's steaming about his truck! We are sure having some unbelievable weather this year for sure!

Geeze, I'm sorry to hear about the damage.
Yes very strange wether, been raining/cloudy here for over 2 weeks...Tomatoe are rotting at the stem.

Luckily we have a carport, but I know a lot of folks here who have had hail and wind damage. It's been a violent spring!!!

Wow, so glad hubby is okay and the only damage is to roofs and windows and such.
