What are you favorite herds and animals?

If you could have genetics from any breeder or line which ones would they be? I don't show or know many of the lines, but I'm learning. So what are your favorites? And if you oogle over certain animals, which ones are they?

I'm looking into AI'ing in the fall and have been oohhing and aahhing over all the pretty pictures

I like Hurricane-PM Lamanchas and South-fork so far.
Nubians I like Royal-Crest, Saada, blissberry, and Kastermuer's.

So who do you like?

My lamanchas have a lot of winterwoods, rocky run, tempo, alder rose, and fir meadow in them. All of these are top of the line breeders. My girls show it, and if I chose to show goats (I'd rather just watch), I'm positive they'd be at the front of the line, as the daughters that I've sold have done.

Lamanchas I have to say I have grown to like Tickle Me pink lamanchas, sorry I dont have a link to their pages, cant even remember if she has a site but I have always admired her goats in the show ring and in time I do plan on buying one from her.
Unless its Nigerian or Boer Im afraid I dont know breeder names, but I can say that Cam Faircloth is the go to guy for AI or semen.

I bought semen last spring from 3 Kastdemur bucks

CH *B Kastdemur's Most Wanted
CH *B Kastdemur's Freestyle
+B Kastdemur's Full Monty

haven't decided which does we'll Ai (or IF we'll Ai this fall).. I also purchased a couple spotted bucklings from Hagler's in TN. http://www.haglerfarm.com/thebarn.asp

As you mentioned semen is cheaper then buying a kid... but I'll admit being more excited about breeding to the bucklings I'm seeing mature out in the buck pen, then the frozen stuff in the tank The Hagler/Infinity boys are pretty darn nice...

We purchased from Kasdemur's when we raised Nubians.

My La Mancha buck is out of +*B SG South Fork Toi Soilder & the does I'm considering are out of Kastdemurs & Quixote....

Alpines & Nigerians I'd take ANYTHING bred by Mrs. Jelke of Jobi Dairy (no website).....

I spend a lot of time drooling over Soilder Mountain too..
