Can a buck breed any time of year?

We have a new 1yo buck... and... 3- three month old does...

Can we house them together temporary?

Can a buck only get them pregnant during the fall rut season?

thanks...Paul

NO, do not keep them together. Separate housing.

A buck that age can breed. Bucks breed year round. I would not house them together temporarly. 3 month old does may or may not be able to get pregnant. Just not worth the risk.

if the doe is in heat the buck will breed her, doesnt matter the time of year time of day or possition of the moon for him to do his job, bucks in rut are only bucks on steroids, bucks out of rut are still willing and able,

I agree, they can breed through the fence also. I didn't believe this untill a doe I sold kidded 5 months later. She was housed next to a buck with a very good fence between them, not good enough!
