New Boer buckling

Well, I'm about to embark on a 3 hr trip to pick up a new boer buckling from a CAE/CL tested herd. He'll be in isolation at least until 6 months old with an alpine buckling born here as a companion. I still want to test him for CL/CAE/Johne's before introducing him to the main buck pen. I'm not terribly worried but isolation can't hurt!

His name is SJE Country View I'm a Ramblin' Man, barn name Waylon.

Pictures when I get home, if it's not raining too hard.

Here he is tormenting his new pen pal (He won't stop riding the bejeezus out of him, lol) :

His name was shortened to just 'Ramblin' Man' Because I didn't trust myself fitting "I'm a Ramblin' Man" into the small blank area left for his name, without ruining it, lol. Close enough.

His dam and two sisters were both solid reds. His father was sired by a moonspot buck... I guess I get potential of color with him. I think he'll be fun to use on my percentage does. I bought him with the idea of mainly using him as a 'backup buck' as I really wanted to do AI with most of the boers/alpines this year, but we'll play it by ear as to wether we can afford a bunch of semen or not.
