Question which of these 4 breeds?

I'm considering having a small dairy goat herd, they will be FB and I'm wondering about your experiences with them, milk quality, ect.

Nubian

I like my Obes since they're smaller and so EAT LESS... it's all about practicality and sustainability...

Of the four breeds you have mentioned, I'd reccomend either Nubians or Alpines. I prefer Nubians myself, but that preference probably is simply because that is the breed that I "clicked" with. Alpines are a good breed. A good Alpine milker will average more milk than a good Nubian milker. A good Nubian milker will average more butterfat than an Alpine. I would reccomend not having a mixed herd of Nubians and Alpines, as the Alpines tend to be very strong-willed and may bully the Nubians. Both are good breeds, just depends on your preferences.

Nigerians for ease of handling and high milk production for their size, I have one that out milks my nubians hands down. an offspring of one of my does just got her start for 4lbs of milk.

I have never had lamancha milk but that is next on my list to acquire. My Saanen makes good drinking milk because its not as heavy but not as good for cheese, yogurt or icecream

I have Nubians and Nigerians. Love them both, but I couldn't choose two.

I am a LaMacha fan and have two doelings who have the best personalities. My family owned their first in 1982 when I was in high school and I was fascinated since. However, I also own Saanens and love them too. They are pretty laid back and great producers too. Their butterfat content is a little lower than LaMachas, but nonetheless, their milk is yummy.

Saanens! Calm, sensible, great milkers - known for 'milking through' without the need for breeding every year. My first fresheners accept the milkstand with no fuss at all - rarely do they kick.

Toggs, in my experience (which is limited to helping a friend show hers) are a bit wild. If there's a goat bouncing through the pens at a show, there's a good chance it's a Togg.

My Nubian is a pill to milk - last year I had to tie her legs to the milkstand every single time I milked her. When I finally gave up, she dried up in about two days. My Saanens only dry up if they are two months away from kidding and even then it's not easy.

My Saanen has good butterfat content too. We've made some great cheeses and ice cream with her milk.

Alpines! This is probably because my first goat is an Alpine, but they are also very QUIET, compared to some breeds, so definitely Alpines!

If I wanted a 100% purebred herd I would go La Mancha. But we have had the best sucess over the years with Nubian/Alpine crosses. Hybrid vigor and excellent milk production.
