No you are not. I raised Nubians for many years. I thought the LaManchas looked strange. I got one for one of my sons and she was the sweetest, most gentle goat that I had ever been around. I fell in love with them, altho it took a few years before I went to LaManchas exclusively.
If you get one, you will be sold on them. My sheep raising friend likes them best because they will foster her lambs with no problems. You will even grow to love those adorable tiny ears! :happy0035:

I have always liked the look of LaManchas and always thought that I would like to have some as a second breed. Then we got one and within a month all my Nubians were sold off and we were all LaMancha all the way.
