doe.......pregnant?

I have a 2yo Lamancha , was in with a buck in Dec., Biotracking blood test for pregnancy came back negative.

She was in the same pen with my Nubian, test results for the Nubian came back positive.........and she deff looks it. Bagging up, getting large.

the due date is the 19 of May.

Now the LaMancha seems to be putting on wieght, and I could swear she is starting to bag. She also seems to be getting very shaggy. REally long hair along her spine, shoulders, rump area. Ive noticed the last couple of days, she seems to be laying down, dozing a lot more than I have seen in the past.

Any chance Biotracking was wrong?
Could she be having sympathy pregnancy signs?
What might be the deal with all that hair???
Any ideas/suggestions about why my girl may be acting so oddly?

Thanks

I've had a few "hairy" LaManchas, so I don't think that is really a sign of anything. I wonder if you copper bolus and offer minerals?

When was the blood drawn and tested @ BioTracking? Perhaps send in another sample?

At this point you should be able to feel movement of the kids, if she's pregnant. Put your hand on her belly in front of her udder and push up gently. If you feel knobbly bits, she's pregnant!

well, checked for "knobbly bits" and didn't feel a thing.

But then I tried the same thing on the one that I know (for sure) is preg, and couldn't feel anything there either

oh well!

Some dairy does will start producing milk in the spring even without kidding. If I leave one of my Saanen does dry, she will come into milk anyway.

Two of my Nubian does are not bred according to BioTracking. They don't look bred. But both of them have bagged up some. I tried milking them just to see what would happen and got about 4 oz from one and 5 oz from the other. Viola's looked like normal milk but Oreo's looked more clear and "syrupy" if that makes sense. Viola is my ice cream doe so I'm milking her twice a day to see if her production steps up enough to warrant continuing. I just started milking Oreo last night and haven't decided if I'll continue with her or not.
