Copper bolus questions

Can someone tell me the purpose of giving copper bolus? How often to give them and how they are given? One of my recently purchased does isn't in the best condition. Her coat is long and poor looking, she doesn't "bloom" like my other new doe. I have wormed her with Ivomec and will probably worm her again in a couple of weeks, this time with Ivomec Plus. Will a copper bolus help her bloom? Thanks in advance.

Adding: get a fecal test done, as Ivomec is not working as well in some areas of the country.
