I have goats!!!!

I picked them up from Alice today. She and her husband are very nice by the way.

Almost as soon as we walked in the yard, Charlie Atlas ran to me and stayed near me or my husband. Boston Blackie was the second most friendly. It's like they knew they were mine.

I let them run around my back yard a bit, gave them their bottles and tucked them back in the crate. I didn't want to put them in their yard just yet. It was almost dark and would be too scary for them.

I did get a couple of pics before it got too dark. Boston Blackie is now Morgan and Charles Atlas is Jackson (Jax).

They are really silly. The reason they are always running toward me is they would see me and run to me. They might get distracted for a minute but then would run to me again.

I love how friendly they are. They just love attention.

Thank you so much, Alice.

By the way, yes, I do miss them! The last few days, after they had a bottle, I could turn them out with their dam for a while, and it was wonderful seeing her with her own little herd. Only three left now.

nehimama, Sir Charles is even cuter in person. He was a doll!

I "tried" to put them in their pen this morning for a little while so I could let my dogs out in my backyard. Jax can fit through stock panels! He left poor Morgan and came running to me. Fortunately my dogs didn't do anything!

So, I guess they will be in my backyard for a bit longer until Jax is big enough not to fit through. * I won't be letting dogs and goats in there at the same time unless I'm out there.

My horses are very interested in them, but Casper isn't good with smaller animals so they will have to get to know it other through the fence.

Sorry, I don't have any new pictures this morning. I'm sure I will have some later.

I'm sorry Alice. I know it's hard. When I used to breed Doberman, it was always hard to send them to new homes.

New pictures this morning. It's still hard getting pictures where they aren't running toward me. Fortunately, they are easily distracted so I got a few.

So, any thoughts on who you would keep intact? I couldn't decide yesterday but don't want to leave that too much longer.

They are so darned cute & they look like they are getting soooo big already! Alice they look so good.

I would keep the brown & white one for the buck & wether the darker one I think. Sorry I didn't know which was Jax & which was Morgan.

Thanks all. I think they're pretty cute myself.

Jax is the calico and Morgan is the dark one. Jax is the one I lean toward keeping a buck but want to get opinions from people who know more than me.
