Poppy and Honey
just thought I would share the latest pics of my babies. They were 2 weeks old yesterday!
They love their "goatloo"
BeeWench's Honeysuckle aka "Honey"
Honey again
BeeWench's California Poppy aka "Poppy"
Poppy facing us, Honey facing away
and Sabrina's udder...I know nothing of udders, but she is giving me just under 1/2 gallon, once a day milking and still nursing the girls fulltime
and this......

calianne, I'm sure you must have a concussion by now. But I know how you feel! These are our first babies and we are just adoring them. I can't get anything done at the barn because everytime I go out there I just end up playing with them!

I want tri-color goat babies! They are both adorable
I think we may need some fulltime medical staff to treat all of the concussions people are getting looking at all the cute baby pics. Maybe we should all wear helmets? LOL

Beautiful babies and lovely udder shot! We just had tricolor triplets (ND's) a few of days ago and they look very similar (although tiny in comparison).

Beautiful pictures. I'd wear a helmet but I don't think it will fit over my tin foil hat

Wow! Nice flashy kids! Very, very pretty, both of them. What are you going to do with Poppy? Just curious, I don't have goats myself, though that doesn't mean I don't enjoy myself here!

Thanks everyone! I'm pretty proud of them too...especially since they are first born on the farm. We are probably going to keep both of them at least until next year after they freshen. Their dam is 9 this year so she'll be retiring after next years freshening and we'll need a replacement for her. We disbudded this weekend and all went well!!

I can tell you're thrilled with your babies, and rightly so! Those Dogloo dog houses make GREAT little snuggly hideaways for the babies, don't they?
