cystic overy

After some research, I believe my one doe has a cystic ovary. Although she came into heat, she battled with the buck and never settled. She has become bucky and aggressive toward the other does to the point where I lost a newborn.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen and the treatment you applied. Did the treatment work or the doe should go.
How chewy is a 4 yr old goat?

She has had beautiful babies in the past so would like to fix this if possible.
Thanks in advance

You can use lutalyse and cystorellin. As long as you know she is definitely not pregnant you can give her 2cc lute to bring her in. 1cc cystorellin when you see her in standing heat then 1cc about 24 hours later. This should blow off the cyst, if that is what you are dealing with. Again do not give lute unless you are 100% sure she is not preg.

I did exactly as coso posted... Jenna is an 8 year old, who we NEVER got her to take for 2010 kids.. (she just kept cycling & cycling) this year we attempted to breed her 2 cycles in Nov.. she didn't take on either.. so we did the lute & cystorellin.. she came back pregnant from Bio-Tracking (due May 23rd).. we are very excited & can't wait!!!
good luck...
