What are you all using to worm and what shots do you give to your kid goats?

I use cydectin to worm. The only vaccines we give are cd/t. We also do cocci prevention, depending on the circumstances...this year we are, and we do bo-se when they are born.

I use Quest Gel (same active ingredient as Cydectin, just more affordable for me since I don't have a large herd) for kids and adults. I keep Ivermectin Plus on hand for the adults, but I don't use it on the kids.

I have Corid on hand for Coccidia prevention, and I start that at 3 weeks old...give for 5 days in a row and repeat every 21 days. Also have Sulfadimethoxine on hand as a Coccidia TREATMENT, but it can also be used as a preventative.

I give CD/T to kids..

Six weeks old gets their first CDT vaccination. Here below is the schedule to raise healthy kids. Prevention, prevention, prevention is the theme. Waiting till a problem arises to 'treat' is a hassle and time waster and leads to dead kids too often, or stunted and sickley kids. Plus diarrhea splatted all over the place from not preventing Coccidosis and worms.
So you all, do the right thing and follow this.
