OBF Ronan & goat baby tricks...
LOL! We got home from church last Sunday & sat in the car and laughed & laughed at our new Jr. Herdsire. He was leading the other kids at a game of "slide across the house". They would jump on a plastic lawnchair I left in their pen and then toward the doghouse. As they flew toward the doghouse they would tuck their legs so they would slide across the roof of the house and off the other end.
If we can catch pics, I will have dd, the aspiring artist, take some. It was hilarious! I have to thank my friend, Oat Bucket Farm, for this wonderfully friendly, handsome Jr. Herdsire. He has made me a bottle feeding advocate for life!!!!

You need a bright yellow "Caution" sign - "Kids at Play".

LOL!! If I were still in college I am sure that I would find a way to "acquire" one of those.... As it is, I guess I need to figure out where to buy one. That would be so great!!!! I am officially on the lookout for one of those! Do you think they list them on CL?

LOL, that is too funny! Its amazing the games they can make up. I am so glad you are happy with him
Our beautiful Bella from you has taken to defying Hershey who has taken over as herd queen since the death of Lacey. Hershey is bossy, but she is not the herd queen Lacey was and doesn't offer a lot of solid direction for the herd. In fact there are times when the position seems to waffle between Hershey and Tally. But come this fall or next spring, I think either Bella or Jewels (Lacey's daughter) is going to take over. Jewels rules the babies, but Bella usually contests it and Bella has even snubbed Hershey and Hershey seems at a loss as to what to do with her. She tries to charge Bella and Bella just springs out of the way and looks at her like "So?" She gets up and lays in Hershey's favorite spot on the spool and its a spot that makes it so Hershey really can't get up there or bump her off.
So the title of Herd Queen isn't firmly held and I am thinking its this next generation that will take over the spot. Hershey's daughter I don't think will. But if for some reason Bella doesn't end up Herd Queen and Jewels does, I am pretty sure that Bella will be her stong second and vise versa.
Poor Rio though. He is bigger than all the babies and handsomely gorgeous. But he is seriously out numbered by the girls and they tend to treat him with a "You are just a buck" attitude. There are times when I swear I see them roll their eyes at him.

Bella and her sister must get that stubborn streak from Grandma Monkey! Monkey is a serious contender for herdqueen here!
LOL! Monkey does have the most beautiful children.
Poor Hershey! She looks so much like my sweet Cami! Hershey has my best wishes - dealing with a Monkey grandchild!! Ouch!!!

Gretta the Guard Goat is Gorgeous! (But, Minelson, if I were a SiL, I would be nervous about visiting - she does look pretty intimidating!!!)
