Any action needed?

I just came in from milking. When I was milking Snicket (kidded about 3 weeks ago), there were a couple of times that her teat stopped flowing and there was a string of something that squirted out when I applied a bit more pressure than usual. All was clear when I first started milking...no sign of flakeyness or pink stuff...just those two strands of stuff. Her udder and teats don't feel any warmer than normal.

Is that something that I need to do anything about?

Just keep an eye on it. She traveled recently, right. May just be stress and jostling.

A string of soft material about a quarter inch or so can be keratin and is produced to plug the teat canal. Some goats produce more of it than others. It is waxy and smears. Maybe that is what it is.

No, it wasn't waxy...it was just like stringy milk. This morning, there wasn't anything that stopped up the teat like it did last night, but there was just the teensiest bit of stuff in the strainer (most people probably wouldn't have noticed it because it was so minutes, but I'm a BIT compulsive...hee hee hee!). So, hopefully, it was as Alice suggested and was something related to moving and it will go away.
