need labor vibes :P

Well, Dizzys ligs have been gone for about 9 hours now. We are almost to 8pm. Its supposed to get down to 9 degrees tonight. I read that goats ligs can go up to 24 hours before birth. So far I haven't noticed any contractions but she has goo on her bag so im guessing she is passing it though I haven't seen any. Its Amber colored. My husband works 3rd shift this week and I have a nursing baby who doesn't sleep through the night so I realistically cannot sleep out with the goats tonight :P I have no baby monitor. So, could someone send some goat labor vibes to dizzy? doeling vibes too LOL. I am worried about her kidding at night. Worried im going to miss it or worse, sleep too long in between checking on her that her kids chill really bad. The shelter is drafty and again, its going to be as low as 9 degrees tonight. I am going to bring the kids into the house tonight (hubby wont know cause he will be gone lol) plus i will find those goat sweaters that the doelings wore when i first got them when i do put them back outside. I am going crazy waiting on her to kid :P Its worse than myself in labor!

Other than this- her appetite is well, shes witchy to the doelings and wants to eat my hair, coat and pants every time i go outside. Just no obvious contractions

oh! I thought the same thing about worse than myself. At least I knew when I was having contractions!

I hope she goes quick or waits - don't suppose you have a garage or somewhere to get her out of the drafts?

I put her in a large calf hutch and shes currently on my patio pointing towards my sliding glass door. SHES MAD! lol. But hey, i can watch her now and there are no drafts. So if i fall asleep and she kids, they will have a better chance. I made the flooring thick for warmth. If she would just settle down she will be fine. But she reallly wants out of there and go back to her shelter/"home"
