Not quite a congested udder

We ended up pulling the kids from my Alpine doe. Working her udder, we've been able to get one side almost completely normal(that side alone gives about half a gallon a day). The other side still feels congested. I'm ordering some of the cooler shipping boxes to send off milk samples to be tested for mastitis.

The vet had us start on Tomorrow treatments with Pen G at the same time. It has helped some, and we get maybe 20 squirts out of that side now (as opposed to 5 or 6).

If it was scar tissue, would we have felt it in her udder prior to her milk coming in? I'm wondering if it's not some sore of walled off staph infection.

Massaging it should help, too.

We've been massaging, added vitamin C powder to her diet, massaged peppermint oil into it, and only one side got better.

I ordered it and just got it after kidding. I figured I would need to wait to vaccinate now.
