Are these dairy goats?
I use barley and just a little bit of corn. I found a mix I'm really happy with and it's really made a difference in the milk pail. We don't weigh our milk, so I can't tell weight differences, but volume wise, they're giving 1/3 more milk than they were after a week on the new feed. We feed whole oats, steam rolled barley, just a little cracked corn, shredded beet pulp, BOSS, a little Calf Manna and yeast. It's really made a difference. I don't feed them wheat. I suppose I could if I so desired. I have no clue about peas. I know many on here say that corn has a really low protein level so it's more like candy to the goats. We don't feed a whole lot corn.
