Had another buckling this afternoon -

Flower, Pepper's sister, had a strapping 9# boy this afternoon. I had to help, his head was so large.

Sadly, his mother's udder doesn't look at all like Pepper's so, unless Flower shows some good growth in the next couple days, this boy is headed to freezer camp.

I will post pics when I get back to the house this afternoon. Just came in to the office to turn off my computer -

Only Mamma Monkey left - and she isn't due until April 21. WOOHOO! I can sleep tonight!!!!!!

I've had FF that didn't milk well at all, but improve greatly their second year.

Congratulations on a successful birth! Give some time for her colostrum to be done and her actual milk to come in.

Thanks, OBF!

I will give it some time, then. Pepper's udder just looked so good to start out with & has only gotten better - I was very disappointed in Flower's because I expected the same....

Udders that look like they will be nice can turn out not so nice once the actual milk comes in and udders thet look meh in the beginning can turn out to be okay once the milk is in.
