HELP PLEASE! Doe Bleeding, day 157

FF no bag up, not really dropped blood on tail this is bad sign. Vulva appears tight as ever.
Eating & pooping fine, no foul odor.
Blood on herd queen horns this am.
Have no meds like lute or oxytocin.
Its going to be tough going in at this point.....

How sure are you about the breeding date? If she were not so overdue I would look at this differently.

(if it were me I would swab her vagina with a q-tip to see if the blood was from in there or from some external source)

Easy...easy....blood on the tail and blood on the horns doesn't *necessarily* mean your FF is bleeding *from the vulva*...unless, of course, you see blood coming out of the vulva.

If she is eating fine, acting fine and doesn't seem to be worried, and her ligs are not gone yet...just breathe deeply and have a cup of hot, chamomile tea. Are you SURE of the due date? (Not that any of us can be SURE with all that magickal, flying sperm around.)

She should probably go into a kidding stall if she is overdue.

day 157 is a little long but not unheard of. She was in with buck 2 cycles, the last one beingOct 14-17. Counted 150 days from returnign to doe pen.

I hope she is fine...and all the blood is from is your herd queen nicking herself while scratching her back and then rubbing against others.

Keep us posted.

Bred October 17th would have made her due March 16th. No udder? Tight vulva? Unless you have felt fetal movement, I would guess she might not be bred. I've had them kid on Day 157 and be fine.

Roseanna she might not even be pg...the lack of stretched out vulva is a sure sign of not but watch her prove me wrong.
absolutely no sign of any bagging or even larger teats. She is a fairly wild jumpy thing, has always run when I touch her.
For now she's eating her vey own hay really really well think I'll just leave her be for now

I had one quite "overdue" last June with no udder...well no baby either. Now she has an udder and was with the buck all fall and winter! I thought she wouldn't take. I looking at babies in two or three weeks.

i had a doeling once who had a cloud burst pregnancy. In other words- when it came time to give birth all she did was bleed and developed a real tiny udder. (less than a fist and she was a 2 yr old Nubian)
