Help. Help. Help.

I have a doe (4 years old) who was supposedly bred to kid last June. She didn't. I put her with the buck several times after June and nothing. Finally after moving in a new buck I put her in with him so he would be lonesome. I have watched her and checked her udder occasionally. Flat. Flat. Flat against her body. Today I notice...an udder! Huh. Well I think she's pregnant. What to do. She is the herd queen and was very bossy when she was in with the others but I certainly don't want to leave her in the buck pen..do I???
Help and advice needed.

I'd take her away from the buck pen for the safety of the newborn(s).

When we got our first goats, they were pygmies which we've switched breeds since then, I kept my 1 doe & 1 buck together because I was dumb & didn't know any better at that time. They were fine together & he never hurt the kid. The doe was PG when we bought her.
Now after reading & having goats 6 years I wouldn't keep my bucks & does together but alot of folks do.
If you could move her out of his pen it would probly be better for her but without a date it could be weeks still till she goes, they can start bagging up a few weeks before giving birth. Have you checked her ligaments.

Also when you put her back with the does' there will be alot of head butting since it will be like adding a new goat to the herd.

Yes, as Katie said....she can blow ANY time.

Mardi Gras, this season, bagged up at the beginning of January...a nice udder too! She delivered yesterday.

Brie, same age, went from flat as a flitter to UDDER in 12 hours, and delivered 10 hours later.

One doe I had, many, many years ago, as a FF, bagged up 4 hours AFTER she delivered.
