Hurray for you! I just got 2 pygora's (type A angora fiber) this last winter, and sheared them for the first time this year. LOVE the fiber- they fit right in with the dairy girls. Let us know how they work for you!

ooooh! i get it... thanks!

the angoras pretty much stand right next to each other and seem to be scared of my dairy girls. i only have two saanens besides the angoras and one is polled, one is dehorned. and angoras have horns but still seem scared of the dairys.

at the farm i got them from they only had angora goats.
so to the angoras the dairys look funny,
and to the dairys the angoras look funny.

The dairys probably think the Angoras are sheep. lol

Congratulations on the Angoras! Are they colored Angoras or white Angoras?

they are white. joplaya has a black spot on her nose and the lady said she had a bit of color in her background so she *might* throw a bit of color in kids.
i want to breed them this fall! and get a bigger herd <3
SHHHH!!! dont tell dad! ha ha ha!

can anyone tell me a bit about color in angora goats?
i would love some red mohair <3 !!! like oberhasli red.... *drooling* lol!
if i bred the white does to a colored buck would i get some white kids and some colored kids? would some be two colors? is that like a no-no?
thanks!
