Smile Labor..maybe?

Since my late two kiddings and losses (all born without giving me any sign that it was about to happen)I am anxious to have a live one one the ground. It is day 144 and one of the two left is acting different than usual. She is very vocal and usually never is. She was laying down panting and then she was up and down. No "goo" and although her udder is huge it has not really strutted. I wish she would kid during the day but now I will have to check her through the night for sure.

She sounds like she is close. Of course that doesn't mean anything. She may do this and then stand around happily stuffing her face with hay for another four or five days.

Yep, sounds pretty close but you know goats, they like to keep us guessing & pacing back & forth to the barn. Sure hope she goes during the day for you too!

Triplets in the wee hours...on her own...I went out at 2:45 AM and nothing had changed.
But at 5AM I heard a loud unusual noise and ran out to find three babies! 2 girls and one boy! Yippee!
