Is she, or isnt she....
Going to kid tonight?!
Sabrina has a goo string, keeping to herself, loose ligs, cries if you leave her and her udder literally doubled in size from this morning to this afternoon......she's digging a spot in the corner of the barn....
Now who wants to bet that I'll be checking every few hours and at my 3am barn check she'll be completly normal, no signs of kids and giving me that smug look while secretly laughing to herself for getting my hopes up.... 
I *know* this is likely to happen....... I know her sadistic goat humor is at work here.....but I'm still going to be an anxious mess, with no sleep, so I might as well check the barn and hold out hope for kids right?
Goats.......Ugh!

Do yourself a favor, hon....just set up a nice, comfy cot right there in her stall. That way, you don't have to be up and down all night, traipsing back and forth to the barn, and you'll get more sleep!

here we never have digging/nesting until right before pushing.. so if your girls are anything like mine.. you may already be a *grandma* well before bedtime..

Have noticed this year that digging/ nesting started right before hard labor here....
I vote for the cot in the stall & pics too - will check early tomorrow morning expecting an update - okay - well - I guess I can wait but I really do love goat baby pics.

A cot in my barn would never work! It wouldn't hold me and a dozen barn cats, I'd end up sitting on the floor...
If ours start digging holes to China it's only a matter of hours though. Keep us posted and get lots of photo!

Yea...... I'm thinking I jinxed myself! 
No, cot but I brought out a chair and my Kindle.....about 10 minutes after I got cozy, she stops digging, leaves the barn and is currently in the yard munching on alfalfa pellets with Tootsie & Keys

Well still nothing other than she managed to rub her butt on me as I was gathering up my stuff.....came inside and only noticed I'd been slimed 20 minutes after I came in... 
Don't ya just LOVE how earlier I was positive tonight was the night and now she's acting as if kidding isn't for another month....she was even instigating play with Keys - playing Queen of the upside down tub! How she hops around with that belly is beyond me....
This must be my punishment for daring to assume I knew what my goats would do.....Afterall, who do I think I am to interpret signs and try to predict labor, why on earth should I expect kids after seeing text book signs ? 
Back inside, hubby is staying up waiting on a call from one of the rigs that supposed to come no later than midnight.....he said he'd do barn check for me and will wake me if anything is going on....he's got midnight, I have 3:00am...
And the waiting continues...

Ugh. Well. So sorry to hear this. I am going to sleep and will check tomorrow around 11:00 to see that she finally decided to have those kids around 9:00 after you have gotten up several times during the night. Don't you wish your does didn't follow the code so well?

Still no babies!! 
We are having a big birthday party for my son on Saturday....20 kids invited, rented a party room...bummer cars, the works......who wants to bet that brat will go into labor right after the party gets started?
After yesterday with the constant digging and such I was so certain that we would have babies

I sure hope she doesn't go in the middle of your son's birthday party but what a cool experience it would be for alot of those kids to witness something like that.

LOL! My kids are playing the guessing game.....my son says she'll have triplets....my daughter says twins.....Hubby swears she's faking it & just blows out her belly when we're around so we think she's pregnant, lol
Sadly, bday party is 40 minutes away, my house is way too small to host a party so we rented a game room..... party is from 1:00-2:30 so I hope she'll wait until after 3:30 on Saturday if she chooses to go that day......but knowing her, she'll go into labor at 1:10pm just to be spiteful!
