Does Ivermectin work for strongi?

I finally did something right. I got a fecal instead of throwing drugs at my goat with runny poo. The vet said to treat for strongi according to fecal? What group doe that fall in? She was wormed with Valbazen on Tuesday. Can I give her ivermectin today? If I hadn't done the fecal I would have thought she had cocci, and would have treated for the wrong thing. I'm glad I did got the fecal and whats even better is this vet only charges $5 for the fecal. Yea The vet I moved next to is so much more economical then my last vet.

It worked I can't believe it, Alice in Tx is my idol, she can do a link for anything you need, I just didn't think I could do it as I am normally computor illiterate!

That info should help you with any kind of worms you have now or in the future.

Barberpole worms (HC) are strongyle worms.

Haemonchus contortus and Trichostrongylus spp. were the most important strongyles in sheep and in goats, H. contortus, Trichostrongylus spp. and Oesophagostomum spp. were most prevalent.
