Tally's Buckling

After a long hard labor, Tally delivered a single, huge ten pound buckling. Quite the feat for a yearling FF. Thank you Emily, the Fairy Goat-Mother, for your advice last night. Tally is doing great this morning and is a dream on the milk stand. Squats over the bucket with barely a foot moving.

He is a beautiful buckling and he is for sale as a buckling with his papers.

Here are pics of him.

Drat! My FF lost the race! Congrats on him, he's a BIG 'un!

Still no signs of labor in my ff. Tomorrow is a rabbit show that I will cancel attendance to if she's in labor... but I doubt she will be. Sunday I plan on driving down to OH to pick up a new alpine buckling, hopefully if she kids that morning (she'll be 5 days overdue at that point) then I'll still be able to drive down.

Thanks! Yes he is huge. He drank ten ounces of colostrum in his first meal. I think next time I might induce rather than let her go over.

Yes there is quite a bit of Celtic Knot on both sides. And I would keep if he wasn't related to both Hershey and Tally.

Tally was more than ready to be done with the whole giving birth thing.
