IVOMEC Sheep Drench is marked to $10

The ivomec sheep drench is marked to $10 at tractor supply. Is it worth buying or just keep getting the injectable stuff from the vet? This is the bottle that retails a little less then $100.

Ivomec sheep drench retails at $100?

I don't buy my wormer from the vet. I buy Ivomec Plus injectabe at my co-op and it is $42 for 100ml.

Yes to your question that is a good buy, plus it is oral and goats do better when de-wormed orally. I never buy de-wormer from my Vet either. You can get it from any Farm Store or feed store or online from www.valleyvet.com or www.jeffers.com or www.hoegger.com. But not for $10, check the outdate and use it up.

TSC sells that too.
You don't need to get it from a Vet

I don't want to buy a whole bottle of expensive injectable ivermectin from TSC when I can buy a little as I need it from the vet. I only keep 4 adult does. So for $8 I can swing by the vet and get 4 syringes with just the right amount. But if the drench works, I can get a whole big jug for $10. That is doable. Plus I can share with my friends.

Only thing with the Drench & the Injectable is the difference in the amount of medication. I think the drench is 0.08% & the injectable is 1%. I would make sure to adjust the dosage according to the strengths if you decide to get the drench.
