need receipe to help goat drink more

I will check back in a little later, but my new doe is eating well but not drinking hardly anything. She kidded on sunday with twins, a buck and a doe.
Isn't there a receipe of mollases water?
Would that be good for her?

Mix 1/4 cup molasses in a gallon or two of water. This is normally given to the doe immediately after kidding.

Is she making milk?

Is she peeing?

I don't know if she is peeing. She only pooped while on the milk stand. I have left the babies on her for now since I moved them yesterday and everyone was already stressed out enough. I thought she could use a warm treat after being so stressed. I put a bucket of warm water in there this morning and the one from last night hadn't been touched very much if at all.

It takes a few days sometimes for them to get used to new water

Mine love warm water with apple cider vinegar added to it, especially this time of year.

Also after kidding I always mix up a bucket of electrolyte water for my does' to drink. The recipe for the homemade is:
1 liter warm water
2 Tablespoonfuls Honey or sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon Baking soda

Mine love this. I usually use the honey but sugar will work. I've tried the molasses in the water & mine won't drink it.

Sabrina will run you down for a sip of Mountain Dew lol

But I don't recomend Mt Dew....

Tootsie wouldn't drink well after she kidded so I brought her out some warm water with honey and just a lil bit of vanilla extract (not the imitation stuff and only enough to add a yummy smell)

She drained the entire gallon I brought out to her and after that 1st bit she started drinking on her own.

Mine also like molasses water......took that out to them during the freeze as a treat and they all really liked it.

Just offer her water very warm after she eats her feed. That's when all mine drink the most.
