looking for input on kidding

My old girl is finally about to kid. In fact I see two bags hanging out. She is pushing occasionallu but content to stand here and chew her cud. Keeps looking at me like I am crazy for not letting her out of the stall.
History- a couple of years ago she had two kids pushing out together and stuck. Wehen I found her she was down and kids dead. We nearly lost her. I am worried she is going to have trouble this time. How long would yall wait before going in? I have been seeing the bags for an hour or so. Wish I had something to give her to make stronger contractions.
And-vet told me Monday he will be out of town all week. Figures-doesnt it?

If she were mine I would go in and take a feel. If she has the water bag out she should be pushing. I would go in see if you have a malpresentation, if you do your going to have to help. At this point I would probably lube up and get them out of there, one way or the other. My .02.

No calcium drench. I just came in to wash up and see what I can feel.
I originally posted from my phone, didn't even think it posted! So glad it did.
I hope and pray for the best. Lost two of the most gorgeous girls last time.
I think this doe needs to move to a forever pet home. I didn't intend for her to get bred.

well, we have twins. The girl didn't make it. There was such a tangle of feet/heads that I had a hard time figuring out what to pull. Mom never got the urge to push until I went in and started feeling around. The girl was coming first, but her head was bent back. I kept feeling the boys nose next to her feet and thought I had the feet/head that went together but I was wrong.
Finally got to the point of have DS pull for all he was worth to get her out.
Then had to go fishing for the boy. Mom's uterus is huge, and I had to really feel around to find him. At least I know there are no other babies in there.
Glad I went in when I did, the cervix was closing up as we were trying to sort things out.
Not sure about the little guy, he seems wore out. Trying to get up and nurse, I came in to get cleaned up and send out some molasses water for mom.
Was very thankful she got back up - I was afraid she wouldn't.

ok, well, I am soaked to the skin in stuff, have youngest DS burying little girl, oldest watching mom/buckling. So I guess I need to shower real quick and get back out there.
I really was hoping for a girl so I could feel good about retiring mom. Never had kept one of her girls. I regret that now.

Thnx for encouraging me to do what I knew I should do. I was just really hesitant to intervene too fast. Not sure the outcome could have been any different

thnx ya'll. Looks like the little guy isn't going to make it. His back legs are jello. I keep trying to get colostrum in him and he won't suck or swallow.
I am thinking these kids may have been early? They are so small, and the hooves are white/almost transparent. The little guy is making noise but breathing hard and wont really try to get up. When I try getting him up his back legs just crumble.
I guess I will just keep trying everything I know and watch him.
Mom is doing fine. I will milk her out for awhile and be looking for a pet home with no bucks for her. Looks like even my best efforts won't keep the guys away from her.
