Strange affliction...

I have a sweetheart Nubian 6 y/o doe that has acquired strange scaly patches where her horns were dis-budded years ago. The patches are about 1½" diameter(L) and 1" diameter on right. If were were a dog, I'd say it was a mange.

Also there is this same(?) scaly patches on the inside of 1 ear (kinda down deep). Though it doesn't seem to bother her I haven't the foggiest idea what the problem is or what I should do about it.

Suggestions would be appreciated.

BTW: she is due to kid in about 2 weeks. Had triplets the last 2 years.

Goats can get mange mites as well. Could be that.

If you could post a picture of the sites that would help folks here to help you with what it is & what to do for it?
I'm treating a buck for mites right now too. There are different kinds of mites though.

When we first brought Penny home she had a bald spot where her horns would have been. I just figured whoever disbudded her got carried away. She was 4 at the time. After I dosed her with copper the hair grew in. I was surprised, I didn't know this was a symptom of copper deficiency. I don't know if it's the same thing, but copper is wonderful!
